Beddy Bye Bone was created out of a deep understanding of what dogs go through in high-anxiety situations. Our founder, Devan Sirls, a Veterinary Technician, witnessed firsthand how anxiety affects dogs during vet visits, grooming appointments, boarding stays, and other stressful events.
She saw dogs cause damage to not only themselves, but to others around them — all because of overwhelming fear and stress. That experience sparked an idea: what if there was a natural, effective way to help calm dogs before these high-stress situations?
The Birth of Mellow Treats
Drawing on her clinical experience and passion for animal welfare, Devan Sirls came up with the idea to combine CBD and L-Theanine — two scientifically studied calming compounds — into a delicious, all-natural dog treat. That's where Beddy Bye Bone – Mellow Treats comes from.

As a Veterinary Technician, Devan Sirls has spent years working alongside veterinarians, caring for dogs in some of their most vulnerable moments. She has seen the toll that anxiety takes on pets — from trembling and panting to destructive behavior and self-harm.
Devan's hands-on experience in clinical settings gave her unique insight into what dogs need during high-stress situations. She knew there had to be a better way — a natural solution that could help dogs feel calm without heavy sedation.
That passion led her to develop Mellow Treats, combining her veterinary knowledge with cutting-edge research on CBD and L-Theanine. Today, Beddy Bye Bone is helping dogs across the country find peace during vet visits, grooming appointments, boarding stays, and beyond.
